Project Overview

Promovans collaborated with Imagination to deliver the CommBank Tour Bus, a custom-built national roadshow platform designed to engage audiences with interactive financial education. The bus featured a mix of digital and experiential learning zones, enabling visitors to explore financial literacy in a hands-on, gamified environment. A support vehicle travelled alongside, carrying additional custom displays to expand the experience at each location.

Vision

CommBank and Imagination’s vision was to:

  • Create a mobile platform that could engage audiences across metro, regional, and remote areas of Australia.
  • Deliver financial education in a fresh, interactive, and entertaining way.
  • Provide an immersive brand experience that would position CommBank as a leader in innovation and community engagement.
  • Run a multi-year national tour to build consistency and long-term awareness.

Delivery

  • Custom Bus Fit-Out: Designed and delivered a touring vehicle featuring distinct zones:
    • VR Zone (rear): Visitors experienced immersive content in a seated virtual reality setup.
    • Interactive Zone (front): Touchscreen pylons hosted gamified educational modules to teach financial concepts.
  • Support Vehicle: Delivered additional custom-built displays arranged around the bus at each stop to expand the engagement footprint.
  • Roadshow Execution: Managed logistics, compliance, and delivery across multiple states, ensuring consistent brand presentation.
  • Tour Structure: Designed for a two-year national program, with roadshow stops in diverse urban and regional communities.

Impact

  • National Reach: Brought CommBank’s message to communities across Australia, breaking down barriers to financial education.
