A conference is a meeting of people that "confer" about a topic such as a medical symposium for example whilst events broadly could include company award ceremonies, Film Festivals, or common interest gatherings such as gaming and pop culture conventions.
Whatever the specifics of the event, gatherings of people need to be managed, traffic flows planned, event signage provided, displays created for various areas and more importantly experiences must be created for both exhibitors and delegates alike.
