Surf for Ocean Sustainability: Supporting Fiji's Commitment to a Healthier Ocean

On 25th May 2019, Surf For Ocean Sustainability (SOS) made waves in Fiji, marking a historic first for the country. The initiative called on Fijians and ocean-conscious citizens worldwide to come together for a day of action aimed at protecting the ocean and preserving its beauty for future generations.

The event featured a variety of activities, from cleaning beaches and planting native trees to kava ceremonies and surfing. Participants also learned about coral restoration and engaged in community-building activities filled with love, laughter, and shared purpose.
