At Exposure Group, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We are thrilled to announce a significant step forward in our mission to reduce plastic waste and improve our environmental footprint. We are partnering with Great Wrap to eliminate plastic shrink wrap from our operations entirely.

Why This Partnership?
Great Wrap is leading the charge in compostable, sustainable packaging solutions. Effective immediately, we’ve transitioned to their compostable stretch film for all our operations. This move is a major leap forward in our ongoing commitment to sustainability, and we're excited to be part of their journey in changing the packaging landscape.

The First Step: Huge Savings in Plastic Shrink Wrap
In this first step, we estimate that we will save 12 rolls of plastic shrink wrap per month for 10 months of the year, at 300 meters per roll. This amounts to 36,000 meters of plastic shrink wrap annually, which will be completely replaced by compostable material.

• Plastic Waste Savings: 1,800 kg of plastic shrink wrap will be diverted from landfills each year.

• Carbon Footprint Savings: This switch will save approximately 10,800 kg of CO2-equivalent emissions annually, contributing significantly to reducing our carbon footprint.

What’s Next?
We’re not stopping here. In the coming weeks, we will be working closely with Great Wrap to test a new bundling tape made from their compostable materials, specially created for us to trial. Our goal is to eliminate plastic bundling tape from our operations entirely. Once tested and ready, we’ll integrate it into our processes, ensuring that our supply chain becomes even more sustainable. This will further reduce our environmental impact and provide a new compostable solution that others can benefit from as well. Great Wrap will then be able to offer this innovative bundling tape to businesses looking to take the next step in eliminating plastic from their operations.
